The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce distributed snapshot passports to local youngsters in the community prior to the summer vacation to encourage activity and engagement. Certain parks, businesses and other entities in the area had snapshot points that those enrolled were able to gather.
To celebrate the collection of the snapshot passports over the summer, the Chamber hosted a barbecue at Washington Park in Price on Thursday evening. The barbecue was free to the community and featured hot dogs, watermelons, refreshments and chips for nearly 70 attendees.
After grabbing a hearty bite to eat, those in attendance were able to enjoy bounce houses, face painting and other fun activities while waiting for the prize drawing to take place. The second runner up for the snapshot passports prizes was Kenzie Munsell while the first runner up was announced as Elizabeth Nelson. The grand prize winner was Kaelee Nelson.
The chamber would like to thank all Snapshot Passport Sponsors: Smith’s Food and Drug, Hogle Zoo, Pinnacle Peak Pharmacy, Price Desert Wave Pool, Swire Coca-Cola, Wee Playcare, Price Theater, Castle Country Broadcasting, Pinnacle Canyon Academy, Carbon Print and Design, Sodalicious, Carbon School District, AJB Broadcasting, Riley’s Mobile Entertainment, Auto Plaza, Jetman Digicade, Gateway Lanes, Sherald’s Frosty Freeze, Peczuh Printing, Helper Pool and AARP.
