The Emery High School wrestling team traveled to Altamont on Wednesday and upended the Longhorns 46-36.
Spartan wrestler Kenden Huff said, ‘I was so happy. Not only did I win my match, but the team won and it’s a great feeling.”
Emery’s winners were: Cezly Collard (120), Ryan Cox (126), Cole Guymon (145), Dakota Curtis and Chet Funk (170), Brett Sorenson (182), Kenden Huff (195), and Brandon McCandless (285).
The Spartans will next compete at the region tournament Friday and Saturday in Richfield.
