#16 Emery visited Mt. Pleasant on Friday afternoon to play the top seed, #1 North Sanpete, in the tournament. The Hawks showed why they were ranked number one and cruised to a 42-7 victory. North Sanpete scored two touchdowns in each of the first three quarters before the Spartans got on the board with a 30-yard run by Jace Curtis. The Spartans competed hard but were out matched. A special shoutout and thanks to all the Spartans Seniors for their effort and dedication to the program.
