The Emery High boys golf team took to the course on Tuesday for a Region 15 matchup. Emery, Grand, South Sevier, San Juan and North Sevier all competed at Millsite Golf Course.
Six boys competed for Emery’s varsity team. Mckoy Holt, Jordan Fuller, Kyler Farley and Race Nielson topped the charts for the Spartans, earning the team a third place finish on the day and putting them third in region.
“They’re doing good,” coach Kevin Reynolds. “Everyone has improved all year long and they are really working hard.”
The team will wrap up region play on Tuesday in Moab before heading to the state competition Oct. 8-9.
