The North Sevier Wolves welcomed the Emery Spartans to their ball field on Thursday afternoon.
Playing on home turf proved beneficial for the Wolves, who triumphed over the Spartans with a final score of 12-6. While Emery was able to record runs, scoring at least one in every inning but the third and seventh, the Wolves pulled forward.
Cade Brazier was the top scorer at bat for the Spartans during the game with Brax Jensen just behind. The Spartans now sit with an overall record of 10-9.
The Spartans will next travel to Manti Friday afternoon where they will take on the Templars beginning at 3:30 p.m.
