The Emery Spartans continue their success during the rodeo season, adding new buckles, a new state qualifier and even more points at the Bridgerland and Bear River rodeos over the weekend.
Hayden and Hadley Cloward brought home buckles for their third place finish in team roping while Lacy McElprang took second in breakaway. Nathan Urie stacked up some more points with a fifth place saddle bronc ride, as well as Mckoy Christiansen in cutting and saddle bronc, Hadley in tie-down roping and Louie Ivie in team roping.
Reagan Harrison placed fifth in barrels on Friday, earning her a spot at this year’s state finals in Heber City.
This coming weekend, the team will travel to Spanish Fork and Herriman.
