The Emery Spartans picked up their sixth region victory on Wednesday night in Moab, beating the Grand Red Devils 62-47.
Emery began the game cold, scoring just seven points in the opening quarter. The Spartans trailed 12-7 after one quarter of play.
A big 18-4 second quarter by Emery gave it the lead at halftime, 25-16.
The Spartans outscored the Red Devils 37-31 over the final two quarters.
Emery (16-2, 6-1 Region 15) will travel to Gunnison (5-13, 2-6 Region 15) on Friday.
