On Tuesday, the Emery Spartan boys’ soccer team traveled to South Sevier with hopes of adding another victory to its book after last week’s overtime win against the Templars in Manti.
The end of the first half found both teams facing empty scoreboards with a general 0-0 tie. It wasn’t until the second quarter when Spartan Ethan Winter was able to find the net and secure the victory for Emery.
The Spartans will take a week off until their match next Tuesday when the team will host the Gunnison Bulldogs.
