Rodeo fans came to celebrate and participate in the annual Sunnyside Rodeo Friday and Saturday.
There was a kid rodeo an hour prior to the main rodeo. Events including kid barrel racing and mutton busting. The kids who won received prizes for having the best times in barrels or the highest riding score in mutton busting.
The Sunnyside Rodeo started off with a traditional flag ceremony. As soon as those attending had showed their love for the country, the saddle bronc portion of the night began. Locals and those who traveled from afar participated in events such as bull riding, breakaway, team roping, barrel racing and more.
Even the rain couldn’t stop the fans and participants from enjoying food and attending the local rodeo.
