The Prehistoric Museum, USU Eastern presents “ART ELEVATED: Prehistoric Museum Community Art Exhibition.” The exhibition opens to the public Friday, Nov. 22 in the Special Exhibitions Gallery on the second floor of the museum.
The Art Elevated exhibition features established and emerging artists from Utah. The exhibition includes an array of paintings, drawings and sculptures. Many artists celebrate the special features of this state; from its star filled night skies, iconic landscapes and wildlife, to wonderful abstract works of art. Also on display will be the artwork from the 2019 Jurassic National Monument Artist in Residence, Terry Willis.
Please bring family and friends this winter to enjoy Utah’s diverse art community. Sale of art work helps support the Special Exhibits Gallery each year.
The Prehistoric Museum, is located at 155 East Main Street in Price. The museum features fossils and artifacts from Utah. The museum is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission rates apply.
