The recently re-opened ToughHER Gym hosted the Mr. & Mrs. ToughHER than Cancer event on Friday.
Competitors vied for the title by taking part in atomic push-ups, box jumps and ab straps, among other workouts. All proceeds from the evening were donated to the Relay for Life event.
Gwen Nielson was named as Mrs. TougHER than cancer and walked away with a prize basket including $100 worth of hair products, water bottles, supplements and a free Lunatic Triathlon entry to name a few of the prizes.
Alex Gonzalez took home the title for the men’s competition and was given a prize basket as well, which contained, among other items, a certificate for a free auto detailing from Streamline Auto, a blender bottle as well as other workout apparel.
In total, the Price-based gym raised $278 for the Relay for Life, which focuses on assisting both cancer patients and survivors.
