Nearly 50 boys in grades first through eighth attended the Emery Spartan football camp on Monday morning.
The boys were divided into offensive and defensive divisions and taught basic skills. They worked with the training apparatuses and ran drills; running backs, defensive backs, line, tackles, ball handling and throwing skills.
Following the training skills work, the older participants got to participate in a number of scrimmage drills. The training was made possible by the Emery High coaches and players as well as Huntington PartsCity and the school’s booster club.
