At around 5 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, a wreck occurred at mile marker 206, two miles north of Soldier Summit on Highway 6. A semi and two other vehicles were involved in the accident because of snowy weather.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, traffic was stopped temporarily on both sides of the canyon to clean up the accident. There were no fatalities but an 11-year-old was transported to the hospital along with a 13-year-old to get checked due to minor injuries. Traffic flow has since been reopened in the canyon.
