Castle Dale—Tyler James Wilstead, 47, left this earth, Sept. 16, 2019. He was born, Jan. 13, 1972 to Dodd N. and Connie Adams Wilstead in Granger, Utah.

Tyler was a life long resident of Emery County, except when he went to Utah Valley State College to study diesel mechanics or was running trucks out of the area. He was a primary teacher in the Castle Dale 3rd ward in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The primary kids knew him as the SKITTLES MAN. He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator and farmer. He loved to fish and run his track hoe. Tyler gave service to many friends and family. Tyler never met a stranger, he made friends with everyone he met.

He is survived by his mother Connie; sister, Tracy Clark (Ed, deceased) Ferron, Utah; Trent (Nicole) Cleveland, Utah. Several nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by his father, Dodd N. and brother in law Ed Clark.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019 at the Castle Dale Stake Center, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 35 East Main St. A viewing will be held Friday Sept. 20, 2019, from 6-8 pm at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale 720 North Center St. and Saturday Sept. 21, 2019   from 9:30-10:45 am at the Stake Center in Castle Dale prior to the services. Interment will be in the Castle Dale City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary, friends and family may share memories of Tyler at www.fausettmortuary.com.
