Last week was a difficult week for the Spartans, who played three games on the road. First, they traveled to Fillmore where they fell 6-0.
Then, they were back in the bus on Wednesday when they played in American Fork. Emery put up a good fight, but failed to keep up with American Heritage and lost 3-2. Purity Mason and Kaylee Mayne each scored, while Madi Bunnell added an assist.
Emery finished off the week in Nephi against Juab. Unfortunately, the Spartans were unable to break through and were shutout 2-0.
At long last, the Spartans (1-4) will return home to play Delta (4-1) on Tuesday. They will then head to Roosevelt on Thursday to face Union (3-2).
