USU Eastern hosted Colorado Northwestern Community College Thursday-Saturday for four games, including a double header during Friday’s fan appreciation day.
The Golden Eagles dropped the first game to the Spartans, ending the game 9-2. Determined to step it up for fan appreciation, the team played fiercer games on Friday, coming up barely short in both games, 6-5 and 8-7. USU Eastern faced CNCC for the last time on Saturday, falling 8-7.
Fan appreciation featured free admission, spirit towels and hot dogs for those in attendance.
