Friday marked the end of the season for USU Eastern women’s basketball team with a loss to Salt Lake Community College in the Scenic West Athletic Conference tournament.
Five players from SLCC scored in double digits, helping them secure the 62-59 win over USU Eastern.
The game was back and forth and SLCC led by two at the half. The Golden Eagles came out strong in the second and managed to take a ten-point lead, but the Bruins chipped away at the deficit and pulled ahead by sinking four free throws.
Sophomore Bryanna Adams had 20 points in the loss and Caroline Fischer dropped in 14 for the Eagles.
