The USU Eastern dance team was invited to perform at the Alpine School District Dance Concert on Oct. 24 at Westlake High School in Saratoga Springs, Utah. USUE Spirit Squad Director and Dance Coach Brandi Johansen was invited to teach a master dance class to dancers from nine different high school dance companies in the Alpine School District. Coach Johansen had her dancers assist in teaching the class.
The USU Eastern dance team members were able to set up a booth to meet parents and dancers to talk about their program in hopes to recruit future dance team members. USU Eastern was one of the featured universities along with Utah Valley University Mosaic Hip Hop Dance Company and Brigham Young University Dance Conservatory Dance Ensemble.
With winter sports underway, the dance team and spirit squad will be performing at USU Eastern basketball games in the BDAC. Come out to support Eagle athletics!
