The Eagles played Central Wyoming College on Friday afternoon, losing 62-72.
The first half was controlled by the Eagles who were led by Donaval Avila JR with 15 points and two steals. Central Wyoming College scored 34 of its 72 points from within the paint and were able to run away with the game at the end of regulation.
Ending the weekend on a high note, the Eagles earned a solid win against Eastern Florida State College with a 61-51 victory.
Standout shooter Christian Haffner had yet another impeccable night from beyond the arc, shooting 6-12 and ending the night with 20 points in just 26 minutes of play. Veljko Ilic went to work on the rebounds, securing nine of the team’s 32 total rebounds.
The Eagles will next play in Rock Springs on Tuesday against Western Wyoming Community College starting at 6 p.m.
