Residents battled bitter cold conditions and snowy weather to celebrate Utah’s Christmas Town Festival. The 24th annual electric light parade kicked off Friday evening as the grand marshals, the state champion Helper American Legion Baseball Team lead the way.
Many families made their way to share breakfast with Santa Saturday morning at the Helper Auditorium. Despite snow, event organizers explained that the turnout was good.
The Christmas Town Festival will conclude Saturday evening with a chili dinner from 4-7 p.m. at the auditorium and the electric light parade and fireworks at 7 p.m.
