Pinnacle baseball took on the MCPA Knights on Thursday. The Panthers had everything going for them as they won their second game, 14-0, to open the season.
Mikey Vigil pitched five shutout innings to get the win. He struck out 11 batters and only allowed three hits and one walk on the mound. Six Panther batters had two hits in the contest as Pinnacle moved the ball all over the field. Vigil had two doubles and led the team with three RBIs along with teammate Stetson Motte. Landen Hardy reached base three times and went 2-2 for the Panthers.
Up next, Pinnacle will play Panguitch on the road on Wednesday.
