Wellington’s Pioneer Day celebration began Friday night with live entertainment for the community to enjoy. Those in attendance got to here from the band Los Hermanos de Los Andes, which got the crowd moving and grooving to the music.
This years theme was “Where Nature Smiles for Hundred of Miles.” On Saturday morning, a parade with Grand Marshall Sam and Pat Espinoza took place. The parade included the Carbon High School band, Carbon County royalties and Carbon High student government.
This annual event continued with activities throughout the day that included entertainment and vendors and bouncy houses for the kids to enjoy.
