Wellington City’s annual Easter egg hunt took place in the city’s park on Saturday morning.
The park was covered in colorful eggs and children lined up on the outskirts ready to see what goodies they had in store. The park was sectioned off into several division regarding age group to give each child a chance at securing eggs.
Wellington City Fire Department blew their horn at 10 a.m. sharp to initiate the beginning of the hunt. Once the eggs were gathered, children broke their eggs open to find the prize inside.
Carbon County Royalty helped Wellington City personnel hand out a special prize to each child who participated in the Wellington Easter egg hunt.
