The Wellington City Council spent a large portion of Wednesday’s meeting discussing the fire department.
The fire department reported 6 fires, 13 rescues. They are receiving a second brush truck for off road brush fire season on lease from the Federal Government.
The fire department also requested approval for a probationary member. Council members approved the action.
The Wellington City Council meets first and third Wednesdays.
