Emery hosted Richfield in a big region matchup on Thursday. Both teams found some offense in the first half, but it was the Lady Spartans that went into halftime with the 3-2 lead.
Emery was able to hold off Richfield in the second half and win the game by the same score to remain undefeated in region. The Lady Spartans (5-5, 4-0 Region 12) and the Lady Dinos (8-1, 4-0 Region 12) will go head to head on Tuesday in Price with first place on the line.
