Beginning August 5, Artist Sharon Rogers will be displaying paintings at the Price City Art Gallery on the second floor of Price City Hall, 185 East Main Street. Her works will be on display until September 30.
Sharon Rogers has been a Carbon County resident for the past 28 yrs. After a raising her family and retiring from 37 years of nursing, Rogers is currently in pursuit of her passion in being an artist.
Sharon is a self-taught artist who’s inspiration is to paint landscapes of the desert mountains where she lives. She takes photos on her daily adventures from the majestic red rock and wide plateaus of cedar and sagebrush, to the forested pine, birch and winding streams. She is inspired to paint with a palette of bold colors.
