Shelbi Elizabeth Mower is scheduled to appear before a jury for trial on July 15 and 16 for her alleged connection in the overdose death of a Price man.
Mower was charged in Seventh District Court with manslaughter, a second-degree felony, and distribution of a controlled substance, also a second-degree felony. The charges stem from the death of Trevor “TJ” Whiteside of Price on Dec. 23, 2013. Jason Jaimez and Amee Averett were also arrested in connection with the incident.
Judge Harmond sentenced Averett, 24, to 150 days in the Carbon County Jail on June 1 as part of the woman’s 36-month probation terms. Court proceedings are still pending for Jaimez.
