On Saturday evening, the Green River Lady Pirates played against Whitehorse and took a loss.
The game started off fairly close in the first quarter with Green River going into the second down five, 15-10. In the second quarter, Whitehorse stepped up and scored 10 more points by halftime.
Whitehorse held onto the lead to take the game 53-40.
Daan Filfred scored 17 points for Whitehorse while Talynn Lavato led Green River with 16.
The Lady Pirates will play again on Tuesday as the team travels to Monticello.
