23rd Army Band Performs at Culture Connection

The weekly Culture Connection series played host to the 23rd Army Band on Thursday evening at the Price City Peace Gardens. The free concert began at 7 p.m. and invited everyone in the community to enjoy a night of lively music.

The band performed many songs in different genres. There was a jazz quintet, rock music and American classics. At the end of the concert, the band invited the crowd to join them in saluting the U.S. flag and singing the “Star Spangled Banner.” Band members then thanked the audience for attending and supporting them throughout the evening.

Upcoming, on Thursday, July 25, Culture Connection will feature local singers during a program entitled “An American Tribute.” The event will also serve at the opening ceremonies for Price City’s International Days celebration. Members of the community are invited to join in the festivities beginning at 7 p.m. at the Price City Peace Gardens.
