On Wednesday, the Lady Dinos played the Richfield Wildcats in the first round of the 3A State Volleyball tournament. Carbon lost the playoff match 3-0.
The Dinos fell behind with a score of 25-12 in the first set. Richfield stayed at the top for the second set, scoring 25-19. In the last set, Carbon pulled forward and came close, but ultimately fell 25-23.
The Lady Dinos had a student section and family that came to support them in this game. The Carbon High cheerleaders also came to add support for the volleyball players.
