Lieutenant Governor Spencer Cox, who is currently making a run for governor, will continue his plan to visit every town and city in Utah on Monday, June 24 with a stop in Price.

Cox plans to visit all 248 towns and cities throughout the state of Utah, conducting a service project in each location. His visit to Price will include a project at Castle Heights Elementary beginning at 12 p.m.

Castle Heights shares a fence line with the neighboring cemetery and it has been noted that some students experience hardship in the classroom or on the playground as they are able to see where they loved ones lay. Some time ago, the Price City Council and the Price City Youth Council brought a project to reality to install fence slats in the chainlink fence to create a visual barrier between the school and cemetery, and in turn beautify both locations.

Members of the community are invited to join the council, Cox and the youth council during the installation of the slats. The project will take place until 2:30 p.m. and those of all ages are welcome to participate.
