Carbon was back on the pitch Thursday afternoon to face the Wildcats.
The Dinos were heavy on the attack in the early going, but could not break through. Then, Kinley Cowdell took advantage of the aggressive ‘Cat goalkeeper by chipping the ball over her head for the first goal.
The Dinos continued to apply the pressure on Richfield. A beautiful cross found Ada Bradford, who put the ball in the back of the net with 12 seconds remaining in the first half. The goal gave the Dinos all the momentum they would need as they went on to win 3-1.
Bradford finished with one goal and one assist while Amiah Timothy added a goal in the second half. In addition, Shalyce Rahaula and Beverly Lancaster each recorded an assist in the victory.
The Dinos (6-3-1, 1-1) will next prepare for the Spartans (3-6, 1-0), who come to town on Thursday.
