Looking for its first Region 19 victory, the Green River Pirates hosted the Monticello Buckaroos Tuesday night in Green River. The Bucks raced out to a big lead early and won the game 55-32.
Jovini Flores let the Pirates with 12 points, including two treys. He’s scored in double figures in three of his last four games. Flores has hits at least one three in his last nine games and in 11 of 12 games overall. Nickola Shaffer was next up with six points.
Green River (1-11, 0-2 Region 19) will host Monument Valley (0-1, 0-1 Region 19) on Friday. The game can be viewed live on ETV Channel 10 at 4 p.m.
