Shanna Magnuson and Michelle Oviatt are the owners of the new business Naturally Inspired located in Castle Dale. The duo recently opened their doors on July 6.
“I’ve wanted my own clothing boutique ever since I was little, and now I’ve achieved that,” Oviatt remarked.
Magnuson started out making lip balm, and soon enough, everyone wanted some. She then decided to open up her own business. Magnuson makes her own skin care products to give people a healthy and natural alternative. Customers can see the process of how everything is done in the store. It is handmade, perfect for tourists with city style but complete with small town charm.
“The best part about my job is when customers rave about how much my product has helped them with lifelong issues,” Magnuson said.
At Naturally Inspired, Magnuson makes handmade bath and baby products along with skin care and aroma therapy products. Oviatt is a Tastefully Simple consultant and sells women’s and children’s clothing, floral arrangements, balloon bouquets and handmade jewelry. The store’s clothing runs from size small to 3X.
“About 90% of what we sell is for gifts,” Magnuson commented.
