Carolyn Vasquez and Karrie Jaramillo own The Mane Place located on Price Main Street. The Mane Place has been in business since 2003 when Vasquez started the business. In 2008, Vasquez and Jaramillo began working together. Then, in 2011, the duo decided to become partners and purchase the building the business is currently in, which was formerly The Looking Glass. After cleaning and remodeling the building, the doors were opened in 2012 and have been ever since.
The Mane Place has been progressively and successfully growing ever since. The salon has services for any customer’s beautification need. Vasquez and Jaramillo strive to have a friendly-family environment in a comfortable atmosphere so that everyone feels welcome when they come through the doors. The salon is equipped with the friendliest hairstylists and nail technicians around with plenty of experience on their hands. The Mane Place is currently seeking a hairstylist to join its team. Those who are interested are encouraged to bring a resume to the salon.
The Mane Place offers a variety services such as haircuts, colors, perms, Brazilian Blowouts, gel nails, shellac nails, spa pedicures, facial waxing and spray tanning. Products include Enjoy, Uniq One, Crew, Retro, Scruples, Bosley and Hempz lotions are also available. The team at The Mane Place will do special orders for customers for any product they don’t carry on-hand. The salon also specializes in double spa pedicures, with two large massage pedicure chairs that are so relaxing, customers won’t want to get out of once they sit down.
