Nearing the end of the season, Carbon traveled to Provo Monday evening for a game after the mandatory one-week sports moratorium in Utah ended on Sunday. Carbon lost a tough 1-0 game to begin pool play.
Mitch Olson went the distance for head coach Jeff Cisneros, allowing just the one run. On offense, Carbon was only able to muster three hits in the game.
“We just did not hit,” Cisneros said.
Jayden Flemmet had two of the three hits, contributing two singles. Logan Labrum had the other hit in the game, a single as well.
Carbon will play at American Fork Wednesday evening. The team will wrap up the season Thursday against a team that will be determined once games conclude league-wide on Wednesday.
