On Saturday, August 8, the Division of Wildlife Resources will sponsor a Family Fishing Day during the Carbon County Fair at the fairgrounds pond.
The event will run from 8-11 a.m. The Division will provide rods, reels, fishing tackle and bait for anyone who doesn’t have their own fishing gear. Division personnel will also provide help and supervision for beginners and children.
There will be prizes for all children 12 years of age and younger.
The event is free and everyone, regardless of age, is invited to participate. For more information, call the division office in Price at (435) 613-3700.
