The students at Emery High School held their annual “Service Auction” this week in the Emery High Auditorium, bidding on prizes from extra credit and maid service, to car washes and dates.
Some of these “items” sold for over $100, which some students commented shows either how “dumb” or how “generous” their fellow students are.
Proceeds from the Emery High Service Auction are intended to go to help those in need in the community, but with no one stepping forward to fill that role, the high school decided to use the money to buy a display case to honor those past and future Emery High students who have, are currently, r who will serve in the armed forces.
The EHS student council was in charge of the auction.
