The Emery Spartans hosted a home meet against Juan Diego and South Summit on Wednesday afternoon for a matchup before Thanksgiving.
In the girl’s events, Erin Oliverson got second place in the 200 yard freestyle in 2:37.16. Madi Allinson received second in the 200 yard IM. Sydney Terwillegar received first place in the 100 yard backstroke and Lexi Johanson right behind her in second place. Shaylynn Rowley got first in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:30.81.
In the boy’s 200 yard medley, Devin Wilson, Daryl Guymon, Keldan Guymon and Dakota Wright won with a time of 1:59.43. Daryl Guymon won the 200 yard freestyle in 2:07.36. Dakota Wright got first in the 200 yard IM in 2:39.46. Deegan Minchey won the 100 yard freestyle in 1:01.41.
Emery came in first place with a combined score from the boys and girls at 146, Juan Diego followed in second with 91 and South Summit came in third with 13 points.
The swim team will travel to Delta for their next meet on Tuesday. The meet will begin at 4 p.m.
