At the Emery County Commission meeting Tuesday, Commissioner Ethan Migliori announced that the February employee of the month is Clinton Olsen.
Olsen has worked for Emery County for nine years as the IS/GIS Tech. According to Migliori, Olsen has proven his worth, dedication and commitment to Emery County throughout the years. He is always willing to work hard on whatever project he is assigned. His honesty and work ethic are impeccable.
Olsen’s work on mapping applications with the Emery County website is saving the county a significant amount of money and provides easy access for data for consumption by the public. The departments and businesses in the county have found value in these applications and use them on a daily basis.
Olsen’s work on Emery County trails map has also been excellent according to Migliori. He has gathered data and corroborated with many organizations and groups interested in consolidating data into an organized map application. These maps allow people to download them and use the GPS on a device to track location. This helps residents and visitors to explore the rugged San Rafael.
