The annual Peach Daze celebration began Thursday with sidewalk Picasso, a dessert contest and a bike ride in the Mayor’s Park. A free dinner was hosted in the fairgrounds park on Friday along with a talent show. The celebration also featured team roping and fireworks to end Friday’s celebration.
A Field of Flags ceremony was held at Church Park Saturday morning, followed by a fundraiser breakfast at the fire station. Crowds come out to enjoy the parade and free family fun day in the Mayor’s Park and the Soapbox Derby.
In the afternoon, people enjoyed the horse races, ranch rodeo, ATV rodeo and demolition derby. The celebration ended Saturday evening with a dance.
