Ferron, Utah/Yuma, Arizona – Kip D. Cotner, age 68, passed away May 16,2019 form injuries sustained from a car accident in Yuma, AZ.
He was born Dec. 17, 1950 to Dewitt Daniel “Jack” and Beverly Lou Easton Cotner in Price, Utah where he graduated from Carbon High School and College of Eastern Utah. After college, he married Jenine Oviatt. They had three beautiful girls Kasidy, Kandice and Kyla. Later divorced. He married Glenna Nelson May 20, 2001.
Kip owned the first Haywagon in Utah when he was in High School he loved and made a business of hauling peoples hay. Kip loved camping with his wife Glena and dog Murphy finding rocks and fossils.
Kip worked and Deer Creek mine and later transferred to Utah Power and Light Huntington Plant where he loved pushing coal with the big D10 Dozer. He retired after 36 years in December 2016 and moved to Yuma, Arizona to live out his retirement.
Survived by his wife Glenna and dog Murphy; daughters Kasidy (Nick) Jones, Kandice Cotner (Kris Klees) Kyla (Luke) Ryan; brother Kevin (Kayleen) Cotner; 8 grandsons Kenden, Kyler, Kacey, Kage, Knox, Kase,
Kreed and Kruz.
Proceeded in death by his Parents and Grandparents.
