The Carbon High Lady Dinos kicked off their Region 12 season on the right foot yesterday, edging the visiting Juab Wasps, 4-3.
Jordyn Cave did just enough on the mound and earned her third win of the season. The Dinos entered the bottom of the fifth inning needing a run to tie, but instead plated two runs to take a 4-3 lead.В Juab had previously beaten Emery on Friday 12-3.
The Dinos (3-7, 1-0 Region 12) will play a non-region game at Richfield (7-2, 1-0 Region 15) next Wednesday.
