The rolling Lady Spartans added another notch under their belts on Tuesday when Grand came to town. The Lady Red Devils did not put up much of a fight as Emery had its way with them all night. The Spartans made quick work of the Red Devils, taking them down in three-straight sets, 25-13, 25-17 and 25-18.
As it was the final game of the season inside the Spartan Center, all the seniors were recognized for their commitment to the program. Those seniors included Baylee Jacobson, Brynn Gordon, Hallie Winn, Tambrie Tuttle, Madisyn Childs and Brynlei Luke. In addition, the team also solidified its perfect home record over the season with the win on Tuesday night.
Emery is coming down the home stretch of the season with only one game remaining. Up next, the Spartans (23-1, 6-1) will head to Price to take on their rivals, the Dinos (20-5, 5-2), on Tuesday Oct. 19th. With a victory, Emery will be named the Region 12 Champs. The Dinos could tie with the Spartans in the region standings if Carbon was to win. It certainly will be a game you won’t want to miss.
