Over the weekend, friends and families gathered at the Notre Dame Church to celebrate the 2017 Oktoberfest.

Attendees enjoyed delicious food, games, baked goods, a silent auction and much more. Individuals even had the opportunity to buy raffle tickets for a chance to win a variety of prizes. The two-day celebration also brought out bingo players as well as little ones for an array of kids’ activities.

“This year, once again, Notre Dame Oktoberfest was a great community event,” Nick Tatton, one of the event’s organizers, shared. “Thousands of dollars were raised to promote the civic and charitable interests of the church as well as help sustain church operations.”

According to Tatton, attendance over the two-day event is estimated to be well over 1,000 people.

“Notre Dame and the Oktoberfest committee thank the many community volunteers that helped and the dozens of local businesses that made donations to the event for making it one of the best ever,” Tatton said.
