Carbon School District Press Release
Alheli Pendleton recently accepted a certificate from Carbon High Principal Bruce Bean naming her as a commended student in the National Merit Scholarship Program. This year, only 34,000 out of 1.6 million students across the United States are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise in this way.
The program sent out letters saying that students in this group represent a valuable national resource, and that recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to advancement of educational excellence in the nation.
