Although the Boys & Girls Club is already well-known in the Castle Country area, the club celebrated a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday afternoon. This event took place due to the club merging with the Greater Salt Lake chapter of the Boys & Girls Club, as previously reported.
Now titled the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salt Lake-Price Club, staff and club members welcomed the community into their building for the ceremony. While there, those in attendance were able to enjoy light refreshments, meet the children and staff, and tour the facility.
Currently, there are available spots open for children to join in both the elementary and teen programs. The cost to join is $20 for the entire school year and another $20 for participation in the club’s summer program. Tours are available for those interested in viewing the facility.
The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salt Lake-Price is located at 30 East 2nd South in Price and can be reached by calling (435) 637-6066. The club is open on Monday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
