As per tradition for the spooky Halloween season, community members gathered in Helper City on Saturday morning to brave the chilly weather and get in the holiday mood during the annual Spring Canyon/White Lady 5K.
Each year, runners get to pay tribute to the local legend while getting their blood pumping. A few lucky runners are always able to glimpse the White Lady herself, along with other spooks, while trekking through her territory. The actors for the event were courtesy of Spring Glen’s School of Screams.
This year, Rozlyn Stowe finished first with a time of 18:16 followed by Bradley Sweeney with 18:56 and Tammy Strong at 22:52. For a full list of runners and their finish times, see the gallery below.
