With the Spartans trailing by one, Haylee Beckstead came to the plate and homered, bringing home Gentry Noyes.

Bell recorded the win for the Spartans, though she allowed nine runs over seven innings. She struck out six, walked three and surrendered eight hits.
Alldredge was charged with the loss. She allowed seven runs in two innings, walked one and struck out one.
The bottom of the first saw the Spartans take an early lead, 1-0.
The Spartans quickly matched Delta’s strong inning with a two-run inning of their own in the second. The Spartans scored on an RBI single by Bell.
It didn’t take long for the Spartans to answer as they scored three runs of their own in the fifth. The Spartans scored on an RBI single by Amber Peterson and a two-run single by Beckstead.
The Spartans went up for good in the seventh, scoring five total runs, which came home on three solo blasts.
