The Uintah Lady Utes handed the Lady Spartans their first loss of the young season Tuesday night in Castle Dale, 47-41.
Ashlynn Allred led Emery with 10 points. Jeridi Price and Hannah Dyer scored nine and eight points, respectively.
Emery (3-1, 0-0 Region 15) will host North Sevier Thursday.
